new day (troiku)

morning daybreak
birds chirp in the willow tree
calling a new day

morning daybreak
only the living
… rise

birds chirp in the willow tree
tell tales of mating,
full of life

calling a new day
whistling in the breeze
by the willow tree

  1. Another very nice troiku showing tenderness of nature by the experts – I’m not sure if birds are chirping about mating, though they probably are!

    1. Thank you…my sister told me the swallows at the first sign of spring were swooping on the river in droves…excited it was mating season or letting the girls know…not too sure how that works. 😉

    1. Thanks so much, Kristjaan…I write a Troiku or Troibun any chance I can especially on April challenges with Poetry month and Blogging from A to Z. You should be proud of your creation, I am honoured to have learned from my master 😉
